Wednesday, February 23rd is Pink shirt day. Pink shirt day is also known as Anti-bullying day, it is always held on the last wednesday of February.
Pink shirt day started in a High school in Nova Scotia. A freshman[grade 9] boy came to school on the first day and was wearing a pink shirt, he was harassed, teased and threatened to be beat up by some other students.
Two Seniors[12th grade], David Shepherd, and Travis Price heard about this and decided to take action. They went to a nearby discount store and bought 50 pink t-shirts and tank tops for the next day. They then went home and e-mailed classmates and told them about the idea.
The next day at school there were dozens of students wearing pink, some wearing the discount shirts, some wearing their own pink clothes. When the bullied freshman walked in that day, Travis and David said he immediately lit up, it looked like a weight was lifted off his shoulders. The bullies haven't caused any trouble since.

I'm not sure if they celebrate this in the USA or other countries, but we celebrate it in Canada, maybe you can help bring it to your area.
By wearing pink and showing your support on wednesday, you can show that you are not going to tolerate bullying in the workplace, schools or anywhere else.
this was a great demonstration of compassion, and i guess i am now an official a fan of these 2 XD
I was never long-time "bullied", but several times and counteless idiots attempted to..just because i don' talk too much with everyone, just because i am "myself" only wih my closest friends, or if you inspirated trust on me, some people dont know how to respect my way to be...and these are the bullies.
Now why they "attempted" to? because i fight them back and i have a sharp tongue and i don't fall back even if i was humiliated, everytime that happened i had a payback set up, until the day these bullies give up trying to annoy me. but i feel really bad at who don't know how to defend themselves and several times i found myself in situations i could do nothing to help someone out...
These 2 made the difference..i encourage people to never forget what they did, this will inspire who was opressed, please celebrate this day in Canada, USA, hopefully one day it will spread around the world! One day it may become an official holiday!
What a creative and beautiful idea! This is to show these douchebags bullies that bullying only make them look like crap! Look how awesome these 2 look helping out a random person that way! I say random because they didn't even knew the boy which was bullied, and they simply helped him out!
