As you may or may not of heard, the Pepsi company has started making Throwback [or Heritage in Dr. Pepper's case] sodas. These limited edition sodas are "made with real sugar" and are supposed to recreate the original sodas when they first started making them. Apparently, it's easier to find them at gas stations. I have only tried Throwback Pepsi and Heritage Dr. Pepper, but I would recommend buying them if you get the chance if you want to know what it first tasted like, or if you've had the original [doubt it though], bring back the memories.
But now Dr. Pepper? I'm so getting one after school tomorrow. Hooray for getting paid by working on people's computers and actually being reasonable with the price.
Wal*Mart Super Store carries them now, too. The taste difference is really noticeable in the Mtn Dew and Dr. Pepper that I've tried. Corn syrup leaves a slimy after taste of which we have all become accustom over the decades. Real sugar has no greasy feeling in the throat.
These drinks are great for late night bouts of War Craft III or chatroom all-nighters!
