In this generation of gaming an indicator is used to notify the user that there is an error it can either be a pop up screen or a change of color on the power LEDs. When an error happens it could either be a simple mishandling of the console or a mass corruption of the system's edition. With the 3DS it was reported that Notification LED will indicate a system error and this error I would like to call the Red light of death or the RLOD. With the 3DS an error can be anything it could be data corruption or another internal decay.
An error in this generation is the Red ring of death (RRoD) on the Xbox 360, it consists of 4 errors notified by the LEDs, when one light shows up it indicates that there is a hardware failure and a notification will appear on the screen. 2 rings show that the console has overheated and needs to be cooled and the Xbox 360 automatically shuts off its CPU and GPU and leaves the coolings fans on until it is at sufficient playing level. 3 rings reveal that there is a hardware error same like the first one but there is nothing notifying the user on screen. 4 rings uncover an AV error this happens when an AV cable is not plugged in or a serious error happened to the AV slot or the cord, this is not a problem for HDMI users at all.
With the PS3 there is an anonymous error that occurs and mostly happens in the UK and the error indicates that there is a hardware failure and bricks the console making it useless, a PS3 user had to send the console to Sony and get a new console if the warranty didn't expire, if it did they had to buy a refurbished one from them.
The PS3 as well had another error yet it was rare it's the same with the PSP like above and it's called the Red Screen of death and explains that there is an error but with the PS3 it explains another page with more languages.
Explain below what you think the 3DS error will be like.
The 3DS came out yesterday for 250 dollars, and there is an age limit. You must be at least 7 to even look at the screen, and Flipnote Hatena isn't allowed. I think it's a waste. Go for the DSi XL if you want an upgrade so badly.
"an error has accoured.please turn of the system, then turn it back on.if problem persists, you have broke your 3ds, and you are a irresponsible n00b.give yourself a paddling, then go twistedn all of your money.thank you"and while it has that on a red screen on top, the led lights are blinking super fast.lol funny!
the purple screen/blue screen of death is a pictochat glich error on ds lite. not an accual error. ppl say it is a cheat to find out what kind of ds you have. it aint an arror. its a glich/'cheat'
my brother had a blue screen of death on his DS once, i have no idea of how he did it, neither does he.
and i hope the 3DS don't get errors at all >->, at least mines..since i take good care of my stuff.
But thats good nintendo added this to the 3DS, so if an error occurs we know what is it...
