For Santiago, Justine, Nathan, Derek, Marco, Teryn, Mikey, Erika and Danny; My Family Outside of My Family.
The hardest part of living, is getting through life with a smile on the whole time. Unless you got your face done. Of course, most teens my age don't... It's so weird to look at someone you thought you loved and feel nothing towards them. I would know by experience. Lately I've been having to fake my emotions; I have to add, that I think I've been doing it all wrong... I "feel" angry when I should feel proud, I act shy when I should be flirty... and so on. Who invented feelings anyway? -thought book entry no. 77-
There was a knock at my bedroom door; I ignored it and kept writing in my thought book. Another knock, but this one was so loud it made me jump. I got up from my warm bed and opened the door, trying not to look annoyed. It was my brothers, Teryn and Santiago; they both had a sly smile on their faces that gave me the chills.
"Yes," I asked, "what is it?"
They looked at each other and exchanged looks of "should we tell her?" James was always to the left of Teryn, had dark brown hair, brown eyes, and tanned skin. Teryn, on the other hand, had light skin, hazel eyes, and sandy brown hair.
Suddenly my sister, Jinnean came running towards my room panting. Justine looked a lot like me, but was darker, had shorter hair, and was younger and shorter than me. "Did you-pant-tell her?" She asked the boys as she tried to catch her breath.
"Tell me WHAT?" I demanded.
Teryn spoke up, "Your boyfriends are in the hospital."
"Who? What boyfriends? I don't even have one!"
"You know, Danny, Michael, Marco, Santiago," Teryn was counting them all off of his fingers now. "Andrew, Chris, Marques, Tyler and Nathan."
By the time he got to Marques I was putting on shoes.
"Mom won't let you wear that outside," Jinnean stated pointing at my mini skirt and half shirt.
"I really don't care right now," I replied, as I headed out the back door.
