I awoke this morning to birds chirping outside my window, I got out of bed and changed into jeans and a light blue T-shirt, and went downstairs.As soon as I sat down Mom put down some waffles in front of me. My parents didn't say anything this morning, strange. I finish my waffles and went out the door and said "Bye, I'll see you for dinner later" Still no answer. Today's Saturday, the day where I go to my favorite cafe with my friends.I saw the cafes sign as I got closer the sign said 'Welcome to Chronos'.I walked inside and saw Donny and my other friend Sam at our usual table, Sam(The most girly girl ever.) I waved "Hi guys!" Donny looked up from his cup of tea and smiled, Sam smiled waving excitedly."Hey whats up girl?" Sam patted a seat next to her. I replied simply "Well, my parents are acting kinda strange today, but I think they're just in their little world right now" Donny nodded understandingly.I looked around the cafe, the old style in here made me feel welcome and good inside, but that's when I spotted Meira at another table. I waved at Meira, but she didn't notice me. Sam looked at me curiously "Who are you waving at?" I turned around and said "Oh, that's just Meira, shes a new student" Sam looked at the table I was waving at "Um Emma, no ones there" I looked at her strangely "What do you mean no ones there?" I swung around in my chair to look at the table again, and saw no one. I swallowed hard "B-but she was right there! Wasn't she Donny?" Donny looked at me concerned and shook his head No. I looked down at my hands on my lap, she was right there, or am I just losing it.
