Dalion shot his fireballs at me as dodged each one, stepping closer every time. Reo and Sargos' battle sped up to where they were not visible as they faught. It reminded me of the time Darin and Reo faught in the past. Hopefully Reo would not parish this time.
Reo stopped sudenly and became visible, breathing heavily. "No," he said. "Not again." and he resumed fighting his brother.
"You will fail, Zurilod," Dalion whispered just as I was about to strike him. From the corner of my eye, I saw Reo slice Saragos' arm at the shoulder. It fell to the ground and Saragos stood unaffected by his loss of limb. Slowly, it reformed from the shoulder to his hand.
"A perk of choosing Kil'Jaeden over Gul'dan." Saragos smiled wider and flexed his hand then disapeared. He reapeared behind Darin who stood watching as if he did not know to jump in and help. Saragos thrusted his blade into Darin's back, directly through his plate armor. Darin eyes widened and a bit of blood pooled at the corner of his mouth. Saragos withdrew the blade as Darin droped to the floor.
I turned back to Dalion who had also disapeared suddenly. I turned to look for him and heard something pierce my breast plate. Dalion was staring at me over his half-moon glasses and had his frail human fist griiping the handle of a small knife. I looked down and saw it protruding from my chest. I swallowed and Dalion disapeared, along with Saragos, from the room.
I felt weak and dropped to the floor on my knees. Though I could not taste, I smell blood seeping into my mouth and saw it spilling out from around the knife wound through my breast plate. How could such a small weapon simply pierce solid steel?
"Zurilod!" Reo ran to my side. "Zofrin?"
Zofrin ran up to me and I wondered where he had been. I experimentally touched the blade handle buried in chest to see if I would feel it. I did not.
