Just a little poem that I cooked up...

Innocent child
Shaking in her shoes
Watching her parents fight
Watching her mother lose

Daddy comes over
Grabs her by the shirt
Yells at her, tosses her aside
Leaves her in the dirt

Later that night
Little girl can't sleep
Her body hurts
All she can do is weep

Mommy, mommy
I don't like this man
He hits me, he hurts me
Any way he can
