They're a common organ among humans, used for interpreting vibrations in the air and sending them to your brain for analysis.

There are many things people use them for. Hearing, talking... Listening to MUSIC.

I like a good bit of music. If the tune is nice and the lyrics well written, sure, I'll listen. Many people like listening to songs. Not so many people enjoy reading them.

The appeal of music is the combination of pitches on your ears. Anyone can string a few words together and call it a song, but without music, your "lyrics" are never going to be anything more than a poem, at best. The music is a key part of a song. Nobody listens to music-less songs. They don't enjoy listening to, OR reading music-less songs. Get where I'm heading yet?

People go onto chatrooms to chat. The key is in the word "chatroom." If a person wants to listen to music, they'll crack out their mp3 player or use Spotify, or something like that. What they DON'T do, is log onto a chatroom. And so, we come, to the purpose of my blog.

ATTENTION ALL LYRICS-SPAMMERS!
We are aware you like listening to music. We are aware you may like hearing a particular song. We know you may wish to show your enthusiasm, or brag that you own a pair of ears, but that doesn't mean you have to clog up the chatrooms with your meaningless Words and rap. Congratulations, you have ears! You can listen to music! Good for you! I feel happy for you! Music is a brilliant thing when heard, but when posted to a chatroom full of uninterested members, it's just so much rhyming spam!

Please, respect the chatters of dsipaint, and leave your songs for your ears, not our eyes.
