Why I hate it when its cold and rainy.
Its cold, so we have to wear extra layers. That makes people less likely to move around, which in turn makes them stay still a lot. When people are staying still, they tend to envelope themselves in their own thoughts, making them less likely to smile, and they don't make as much of an effort to keep a conversation going. Not only that, but, finding them gets harder because they won't answer phone calls as often, and you don't really want to go walking half way around everywhere looking for them because its so cold and wet and slippery. All that gives you feelings that no one wants to talk to you, making you feel abandoned, making you feel like crap in general. Then you go home, and get reminded of all the work you had put off for later, and suddenly wish you didn't leave, even though you know that you'd have regretted staying if you did.

Not to mention the disappointment when it doesn't snow and you don't get that vacation you've been hoping for.

Other than that, I would have enjoyed walking around in the rain. Maybe put on some "noise" songs on my MP3 player, walk around, think about things, just enjoy everything, but I end up thinking about all the stuff I just mentioned and that ruins it.

When it gets sunny, however, people wear less bulky clothes, which in turn makes them more willing to enjoy walking around, more open to conversation, like having fun more in general, always smiling, It makes you happy. Not to mention that the increased sunlight makes things more visible, making enjoying the scenery that much more appealing.

Thats why I am, and always will be, a summer loving guy.
