Rainy days get a bad rep. People think they're depressing, and they make songs such as "Rain, Rain, Go Away", which may send children the message that rain is a bad thing. I personally love when it rains. I look forward to rainy days. I love the rain so much partially because I live in an area that's almost always sunny, so rain is a welcome change.

I'm going to list a few things that make rainy days awesome:
• When you dance in the rain you feel alive!
• Rain makes the streets so pretty at night when the city lights reflect off it.
• Rain waters the plants- and provides drinking water for humans!
• It's so fun to catch raindrops in your mouth.
• You can finally use your rain boots to jump in a deep-looking puddle!
• Rainy days make me think of hot soup and a board game- rain is a good excuse to spend time with your family!
• Rain smells delicious!

And there's a bunch more reasons why rainy days are awesome. Of course, too much rain can be bad (flash flood type rain), and some people dislike rain because it can interfere with their business life, but rain makes you stop and think about things. It makes you think about what's really important in life. Have a positive outlook on life- don't hate on rain!
