Let's face it, whether you're here in America, over in England, or Australia, or all the way in the North Pole even, you can't help but hear about what happened to Japan, & whether you care for the people, or you care simply for the 3DS updates (selfish), most everyone has a reason to search for updates. I know it can be difficult to find up-to-date information sometimes. Especially information that is DSi compatible.
One night, as I was searching for update information on how Japan was doing with their current Nuclear problems . I found the most wonderful site. This site has updates pretty much every few hours. Lets face it guys, Japan may have the financial means to get through this, but they didn't deserve this. They're human beings. They deserve as much emotional, & albeit financial support as a poor nation would receive. Financially adept or not. They are still in need of Aid, & we as capable human beings, can help them. So I applaud those who are willing & able to put their own lives on hold to help those who need to get their lives back in order. Thank you for showing Japan, & others what a great race we as Humans can be.
Below, I've given the link for people who would like to stay up-to-date. It is semi-compatible with the DSi. Meaning, it loads, but takes a minute.
Japan Update
Neon - that's extremely mean, they do need money, don't stereotype, they have about the same amount of homeless people as us and they aren't all rich... -.-
Well, my point isn't just money, it's support in general. Jut because they don't play in the mud doesn't mean they can't have support in situations like this.
Ehh I don't think it needs money, well it needs some money, not as much as haiti [btw, what did they even do with all that money? Their country is still crap. -.-] But Japan needs to have help in OTHER ways, and it needs examples set for it.
@WM: Well, true. But, I've seen enough of the people who only think if they're gonna get a new game or something.
Also, when you think about the severity of the 2 situations, you must admit, it's a bit more... Severe, Japan's situation. True, they're not as badly ravaged, since only a portion was damaged, but still, they should at least get 4/5 of the support, in my not-so-humble opinion.
Ram, I'm sure Takis was making a joke (-_- ) I doubt anyone is that dkb and selfish.
Also, it's completely natural and not "bogus" for Japan to receive much less help. It's stupid to think they need the same amount of help. Haiti is an undeveloped country. It's like saying a billionaire needs the same amount of financial support as the hobo behind KFC munching on a Double Down if they get cancer or whatevz.
@Takis: -.- They're in Kyoto, and that shouldn't be your primary concern.
@Blog: I remember reading that only $25 million had been raised throughout most of the world for Japan, which, is only about a 1/5 of what Haiti had "earned". Awful.[no offense to Haiti, but, it's bogus that Japan isn't getting the same support.]
