some real basic italian.
Io- i
Tu-you
lui-he
lei-she
nou-we
vou-you (plural)
loro-they
sono- i am
adding sono after somebody other than yourself, ie loro sono, makes sono mean "are".
e- and
é- is
posso- can
dové- where
adding "non" before a sentance makes it negative. ie, mi piace= i like, but, non mi piace= i do not like.
odio- hate
amo- love
fratello- brother
sorello- sister
when making plural, always drop final vowel and add i.
remember these endings when attempting the present tense with "-are" endings. first remove the suffix, then add the new-
io- o
tu- i
loro- amo
lui/lei- a
realistically, that is all you need. want any more? just ask me!
peace, michael
