pick a five tumbler deadlock. these are the absolute simplest to pick, and it is impossible to find a deadlock with more/less tumblers.

picking your first lock
i think that this is the hardest thing to do. but if you pick one, it gives you a real confidence boost.
1.starting at the furthest tumbler, push up with your pick. if done right, there shall be a small click.
2.quickly push up the next. time is essential here, as if done too slowly the first will ping down. once again a click will be heard.
3. do the others, then push it 90° clockwise as fast as possible. if done correctly you will be rewarded with an open lock!
well done! you are now a beginner lock picker!
