Text review Do not be fooled by the steriotypical premise and child-aimed characters; Pocket Legends is possibly the greatest game on Android and iPhone. In fact, if you miss out on Pocket Legends, I will no longer consider you as a MMO fan. It is that good.
When you start Pocket Legends, you will likely be caught off guard because there are only three playable characters. These characters are an ursan (warrior), a human (mage), and a hawk (archer). Due to lack of variety, many hardcore gamers would pass it off as a dumbed down WoW with less features. Do not make that mistake. You would seriously miss out on a fantastic experience.
Luckily, despite lack of characters, Pocket Legends has gameplay almost exactly like World of Warcraft. You can run around a large world, level up your character, meet new allies, purchase new weapons and armor using the in-game currency, customize your character using the Magic Mirror, and, of course, take countless quests in exchange for gold and items. The game even features a in-game chatroom where people can talk to each other when they aren't doing anything. Potions and attacks can be easily used at any time, and the map has been cleverly integrated into the playing field to avoid cramming the screen. Almost everything from World of Warcraft is here, but this time, no monthly payments are needed. I am thoroughly impressed at what the developers have done to create such a marvelous masterpiece.
