START MID-SUMMER PARADOX
I thought of doing this a long time ago but now I’m finally doing it. So basically this is a kind of interactive story where you chose what you want to happen by picking 1 of 2 choices at the end of the part of the story you read. I think we’ve all read a book like that so have fun trying to get to all the endings. This story is a bit dark so except your character to die more than a few times before getting the “good” ending or the “bad” ending. If you get the bad ending the title will make a lot more sense. Choose wisely, sometimes the story will reward you for being adventurous and risky but sometimes it will kill you. I tried to make all the parts of the story important to read if you want to completely get the whole story keep reading lol.
BLOGMIN!!!! I spent a ton of time planning and writing this story so try it a few times before deciding to accept it or not.
Your adventure starts now!!!
Mid-summer Paradox
It’s a lazy Saturday afternoon, it’s the summer and there’s a big heat wave coming over your area. All of your friends are on a summer vacation and you seem to be the only one within a 5 mile radius. Well, of course, there’s your family but, they were just as boring as watching TV when nothing’s on. So now here you are with nothing to do but watch TV; and guess what? Nothing’s on. So you sit there trying to find the most exciting thing on TV, wishing something actually exciting would happen. You could go complain to your parents but they’d just give you stories about the prune festival again. Mom, Dad, prunes aren’t exciting. Yup. Here you are, sitting and doing nothing. Your brain is about to die of boredom when BOOOOOMFHSESHHSHHSSHAKASHAKASHAKA!!!!!! You feel a huge tremor, bigger than any other you’ve felt before (mostly because your area doesn’t get earthquakes that often.) It only lasts about 20 seconds and all is normal again aside from a few things falling off of shelves and counters. You decide you have nothing to lose.
as i see it there are 2 halves to the story, the tv half and the tremor half. the half you choose depends on your first choice up there ↑ one half has the good ending and one has the bad and i made it so that the tremor half explains the story of the tv half and so forth so to completley get the story you must read the whole thing
you really should try to get the bad ending as much as the good ending, they both explain different parts of the story. if you read every choice you will see the complexity of it all.
