When are you posting the match-up brackets? I wonder who I'm up against. Although it's only minutes away from the tourney date, and I have just one semi-ev-trained Pokémon.
Flat Battles have a set of rules among themselves.
Flat Battle
-No matching items (Cannot have more than 2 of the same item)
-Only 2 legends permitted.
-No matching Pokemon.
-Flat Battles are fancy doubles basicly.
-Must have at least 4 pokemon.
Because Flat Battles are doubles they work exactly like the battle subway. You have 6 pokemon and MUST choose 4 to battle with.
The battles don't take too long. If you can't go with the rules no point in participating.
Also, it would fun if everyone uploads the battle # so we can see each battle.
Cool. I'd like to join. (Even if there's no wonder launcher...)
I really like features like wonderlauncher, rotation, etc. I'm pretty sure I'm the only one though.
Is a flat battle one-on-one as well? Or can it be any number?
Flat battle is what the VGC uses. You bring 6 pokemon, pick 4 to battle with, you can have up to 2 legendaries, it's a double battle, no matching pokemon or items.
This is the professional rule set and this is what I battle by. If it isn't a flat battle I'll have to withdraw from the tournament.
Accepted, I read your blogs and love them all. It feels nice to meet someone who is a fan like myself for the games.
You seem to be fairly educated in the art of battling. I will provide you a link to a website for people who are really serious and want to hone their skills.
I'm talking about the VGC. Welcome to the big games! The VGC is truly every pokemon trainers dream. It stands for Video Game Championships. It's a Nintendo Funded tournament in which trainers gather from around the world to battle each other and prove who the real master is.
A few states here in the US are picked for regionals, hopefully one might be in your area. I entered last year and place 2nd in my state. I'm not the best but I'm a challenge. I look forward to this tournament.

They are showing last years information as of right now. I'm sure B/W tournament details will be out soon.
