Time for Girl Talk with the First Lady of DSiPaint... Here is my interview with...

Me: So, what did you first think of Danny when you met? He said you hated each other!

SavantInamorata I think hate is a little strong of a word, when we first met I don't think there was a problem, that just evolved later from dating some of each other's best friends, but as you can see, we got over it... well, mostly. =P

Me: How did Danny propose? Did he do the down on one knee thing?

SavantInamorata It was during hurricane Ivan I think. He had planned to do something formal like that, but ended up just asking me in private.

Me: Did you guys have an extravagant wedding?

SavantInamorata That depends on what you define extravagant as. I think it was pretty elaborate, we had 6 bridesmaids and 6 groomsmen. I can link you some photos.

Me: So I know you were excited about gigi coming along. How was the pregnancy with gigi? Any funny events?

SavantInamorata Honestly, as happy as I was to be expecting, that was the lowest point in my life. I wasn't on the right meds, the pregnancy itself was hard for me (I barely ate anything near the end bc of the reflux), and we had just moved away from our friends and my family. Danny worked and I felt so alone most of the time. But having GiGi is worth doing it 10 times over. =)

Me: Did you ever get any other weird cravings besides cupcakes with gigi?

SavantInamorata Somehow I go nuts for German bread when I'm pregnant too, both times!

Me: She is adorable and so is Mitchie, how does it feell to be blessed with such a wonderful family?

SavantInamorata It is amazing, we are truly blessed, and I thank God so much for the life we have together.

Me: Has Gigi developed any other obsessions yet? Like with Winnie the Pooh?

SavantInamorata Well she's insanely attached to her blanket, it has to go all over with her. It's a challenge to get that thing away long enough to wash it. It's a good way to get her out of trouble though. If she's into something she shouldn't be, I just ask her, "where's decke?" (decke is the German word for blanket, and what she uses), and a lot of the time she'll stop what she's doing and very worriedly go looking for it.

Me: Do you have any hobbies away from the site when you get some downtime?

SavantInamorata I go through different phases of things. I love to craft, sew, and make artwork. Lately I've gotten back into reading a lot... and of course my therapy... retail therapy that is. =)

Me: Do you like to travel? Where all have you been?

SavantInamorata I love travelling, though I likely won't get to leave the States again for some time. I've been all over Europe (Germany, France, Italy, Spain, Austria, Switzerland, the Netherlands, maybe more). I even spent about a month when I was 17 in France with a host family.

Me: What about pet peeves about Danny?

SavantInamorata He's been a bit better lately, but he always wants to make silly faces for the camera... it drives me nuts!

Me: Well now that Mitchell is here and you already have Gigi, are you wanting any more children?

SavantInamorata We would love to have a big family, we will see what God has in store for us. =)

Me: So what do you like most about being a part this site?

SavantInamorata I like the opportunity to minister to others, and share my faith. I love all my dsi kids, and feel fortunate to be able to be a part of their lives.

Me: Any misconceptions or misinformation about yourself or your family you want to clear up?

SavantInamorata Yes, GiGi does not type and communicate through the site, she's only 2. When her username logs on, it's Danny, conveying the message that I guess he thinks she would give, haha.
