Edward was here this morning but went home after lunch. Luke came in. Then Cam. Cam decided to sit by Luke but his friend Jon sat across from him so he moved.
An empty chair beside Luke. Same with me. I didn't bother moving because it's fine without Edward around.
Today our class had to draw a random guy. The teacher describes the way he looked. After drawing, everyone traded drawings.
"Can I see yours?" Luke asked.
Was he talking about me? "Mine?"
"Yes," he replied.
I showed Luke my paper. He laughed. I laughed with him.
Then everyone had paired up with another person to draw their family members.
Edward was gone today, so here's the big question. "Can I pair up with you?"
"Sure," replied Luke.
At least he didn't say no.
"Who's drawing?" I asked.
"Me."
The teacher came up to us. "Are you two working together?"
"Yeah," replied Luke.
I decided that Luke should draw my sister. I told him how she looked like. Luke was laughing while he drew.
Luke was done drawing. "Does this look like your sister?"
I laughed quietly. "Maybe... put your name on the drawing."
Luke wrote his name down.
"Okay, my turn to describe. You draw."
Luke described his dad. My drawing looked better than Luke's.
"That's cool," said Luke.
Cam was behind Luke. Luke laughed at Cam's drawing.
"This person looks like you," Cam said.
"What? I never knew someone actually looked like me-- Hey! He's bald!"
Cam continued to talk. "I thought you said you were balding."
I laughed at that.
When class was over I said bye to Luke.
