A quick short story based on the star fish you see on the Gaia Online Aquariums. Too cute! Mine's name is Starly. Will make more of these if asked!

Once there was a little pet shop called Pat's Pets. There housed a huge fresh and salt water aquarium section. In that section, in a mid-sized tank held a lone star fish named Starly. Starly's favorite pass time was hanging on the front side of the glass tank and spying on humans. "Interesting creatures..." he always said to himself and his bestfriend, a angelfish named Ange. One lazy day, Starly barely saw any humans. He got discouraged and rested on the gravel for a bit. Suddenly, there was a loud THUMP THUMP! "Humans!" he said and slowly got up. By the time he reached the glass, there were 3 of them, one including Pat, the manager and owner who treated all the animals like her own kids. Starly noticed the custumers with her, now standing in front of his tank. "What are they doing here?" he wondered. He noticed the custumers were gestering at him. Then, suddenly, a huge net dove into the tank; at Starly's direction! Of course, since star fish are exremely slow, he couldn't swim or move away fast. So he just tried to stick as close to the glass as possible, drooling the slimy stuff that kept him attached. Ange, who was hiding behind some coral, noticed this and swam over, trying to distract the now frustrated Pat. But her distraction didn't work, because Starly was finally caught in the net. As the net slowly was brought up, Starly said, "Will you remember me, Ange?". "Of course i will," Ange said sadly, "but i got a feelin' you won't be gone long." "Maybe." Starly said as he was being brought above the surface. He was then ploped in a bag with some water and carried to the cash register. He looked on sadly as he left his friends and home. Then he immediately thought of some esacpe plans.
