Sea World San Diego was the first of three Sea Worlds in the US. Currently, it is the smalllest of the three parks, but remains the most traditional.
Atmosphere:
The park has a fantastic, fun filled atmosphere, with lots of shade, and sights and sounds. Speakers play music ovr the bustling crowds as you walk through the park.

Rides:
From Sharks To Shamu to coasters, Sea World Sand Diego has it all.
The Journey To Atlantis Roller Coaster is a hybrid between a flume and coaster attration. At one point, it actually disconnects from the tracks a free floats in water! It has excellent theming and is fun for the whole family. Just don't sit in the front if you want to get off dry!
The best ride in the park is Shipwrek Rapids, most likely the best rapids ride on the planet (only one that comes close is Grizzly River Run at California Adventure) The ride is incredibly well themed but watch out, the waterfall tunnel may get you soaked!
The Wild Artic is a simulator ride on a helicopter over the Artic circle. Just make sure to watch out, as the ice is beginning to thaw this time of year, so watch for avalances! This ride exits you into the Artic Cirle animal exhibit.
The SkyTower and the Sky Ride are the two "upcharge" attractions at the park. They give oyu fantastic views, and I recommend doing them at least once.
The only other true "rides" the park has are in the Bay Of Play Childrens Area.
Altogether, Sea World really isn't meant for rides, but the rides it does have impress the heck out of me with their immersive theming and great effects. This line up will only improve witht the addition of "Manta" a new launched coaster for 2012!

Wildlife:
Of course, people come tot Sea World for it's wildlife. The exhibits and meet and greets with animals are quite impressive. Sea World has managed to collect quite a collection of animals over the years, they have everything from Peguins to Mantas, and Dolphins to Eels!
The quality of the exhibits is also very good, not just presenting the animals, but providing acurate and factual info for them as well.
Sea World has dozens of animal exhibits more than three different Aquariums!
