So, I got out of my blue car and entered the school. I was just looking around. I was about to go to my class but I went to see my cousin's picture.
It seemed like there was the presence of a ghost named Karen P. She has been around me since July 29, 2010.
Karen was yelling in my mind. "Angela! Go to the hallway already!"
She didn't tell me why.
In my mind, I wished that a guy named Luke was there. If he was, then I'd freak out. Then I listened to Karen and walked to my class in the hallway.
I saw one other person standing. He looked familiar to me. He was wearing a slightly dark red jacket and light blue jeans.
No way. I couldn't believe it. IT WAS LUKE! There I was, freaked out. My wish came true. It's all because of Karen.
Luke's parents came out of his class. His dad was slightly taller than he. His mom looked like she was my height.
"Luke was my nephew," said Karen. "You know his dad? He was my brother."
I nodded my head. "That's nice."
As Luke's family was leaving the school, I saw my teacher and waved at her. I said hi in my loud voice.
Karen talked to me again. "My family never notices me. Even my brother forgot about me. I'm dead."
"At least I have you," I said. "You are my golden ticket to Luke." I sighed. "Karen, if I had listened to you, Luke would still be there and I would have at least said hi to him."
"Yeah. It's hard to listen to a ghost like me."
I still regret what I did earlier. "Actually, I'm the one to blame. I should have rushed to the hallway and not find my cousin's picture."
Karen had a slight smile then her face was neutral again. "Well, at least you learned from your mistakes."
Karen's glow disappeared from sight.
