A mother saved her daughter from an attempted abduction today. The man threatened to return to take her daughter.
The incident happen in a driveway of the womans home in Frankston, Melbourne at 3;30pm.
The girls mother, Lee, claimed that her daughter was playing in the front yard when she heard he daughter screaming.
She initially thought that her daughter had hurt herself and ran outside to see a man dragging her child into his car.
“I could hear this man yelling at her to shut up … so I went out there and he had her by the arm, trying to get her into his car,’’ she said.
She said once she had pulled her daughter free from the man’s grip, he got into his car and started doing burnouts in the street, before threatening to return and take the young girl.
"The man is described as being aged in his 30s with sandy blond/red hair and well built.
The car he was driving was a light-blue coloured small Toyota station wagon or hatchback.
