Once again Kal was worried about his decision to come aboard. He didn't know whether it was a good idea or not. But it was too late to take back his decision. He looked back at the passengers behind him and saw gloomy faces staring back. Kal guessed he wasn't the ony one unsure about this.
But none-the-less, they were aboard. Kal looked back to the front and his feelings were interrupted by sudden shaking.
A voice rang over the intercom" Sorry for the rough landing passengers" Announced the Pilot"But get used to it, You're going to be facing a lot worse than crappy landings."
Kal looked outside at the new planet. He would of loved to explore,but there wasn't time.
"I must get some rest" He thought to himself. He knew he had a busy day tomorrow.But tomorrow was sooner then he expected and before he knew it he was in front of the stage with Commander Fawler in front of him.
"Welcome to the HQ for the Knights of Okaida. Soldiers, Hope you got your head screwed on straight, 'cause you're going to have the roughest time of your life. The force you have joined has never been defeated for two reasons."Said Commander Fawler,"Exhibit A, The armor you are wearing right now"
Kal Wondered what Fawler was talking about. These didn't feel tough at all.
"Exhibit B, The Crystals of Okaida. They harness energy that provides us the power of immortality if used correctly. As you can see here, the cry-"
Fawler paused. For all that was left was small pieces of a crystal with a note."Good luck with the war"It said"No cheating this time."
Commander Fawler looked blank for a second before bursting into action."Men! Man your stations! Looks like we're having our first mission early."
Kal was so confused at the sudden intensity of the situation that he had just enough time to grab his sword before his squad left. Kal didn't know what to think... Continued in Part 2.
