Here is another Admin Interview for you guys! Time for you to brace for the Attack of...

Pac-Attack!

Me: Heya Paxton, if I may call you that, thanks for agreeing to the interview. How are you?

Pac-Attack!: Hey. Just call me Pax. Or Pac. Or whatever. And I am peachy.

Me: So lets get started, how did you find DSiPaint?

Pac-Attack!: Well, I found DSiCade through an ad around the same time I got my DSi (May) I was using it for pretty much all summer in '09. But one July night, Divine Crusader started freaking out and we got into a fight(?) I guess and I was banned. (We're buds now.) I heard of DSiPaint before then and checked it out, regardless of the childish "war" between some of each site's users.

Me: Do you remember what your first impression of the site was?

Pac-Attack!: My first impression was "Woah, this is different." Which was before someone tried cybering with me and before Icee trolled me. >.> (the full story is in a blog of mine, I put it up the first day the blog feature was added.)

Me: Do you remember when you first became admin? What job did you get?

Pac-Attack!: Yes. It was around October or November of '09. There was a lot of bad blood between users over the admins that were made in that period. Admins seemed to be made every couple of days. And one night, after extensively playing Super Smash Bros with Samantha, she made me an admin. I don't really know why, but I felt pretty awesome. It was a big deal back then. And as for jobs, it was back before the job system and the color ranks were added, so just the basic Chat/Gameshow combination. I sure do miss when all the admins were red.

Me: Do you like doing the jobs you have?

Pac-Attack!: I enjoy my jobs, in my own way. I used to make a lot more gameshows. I make sure people don't spam TWiiter and check for paintings that are inappropriate. I really only care about keeping the chatrooms clean, though.

Me: I am assuming by the name Pac-Attack! You are an Atari PacMan fan?

Pac-Attack!: Well, my name is Paxton. "Pac-Attack" was a nickname that I got from my sister and my friends. I decided to use it for everything. Before this, I was unaware that Pac-Attack! was a game and that there is a gamer/blogger guy named "Pach-Attack" So I really need to coin a new name.
But yeah, I'm pretty beast at Pac Man.

Me: So any hobbies or interests away from the site?

Pac-Attack!: I enjoy playing bass guitar, videogames of all kinds, art, and Dungeons and Dragons (don't laugh, that game is really fun). I also like to read and blog.

Me: How about school, do you have a favorite subject?

Pac-Attack!: I enjoy every subject. I love to be able to learn something everyday, no matter what it is. The work and exams are just little obstacles.

Me: What career do you hope to obtain when you get older?

Pac-Attack!: When I grow up, I want to be a videogame designer. I want to create worlds for people to enjoy themselves. I want to make new, innovative games. It's something I love to do, it's a great business, and it makes other people in the world happy.

Me: Anything else about yourself youd like to share with everyone?

Pac-Attack!: I'm a cool dude if you get to know me. I can get serious cases of gamer rage when it comes to online gaming. I'm extremely gullible, so please don't trick me. I can get annoyed at silly things pretty quick, but I'm trying to fix that. I pretty much love anyone that hasn't given me reason not to. I'm a bro. I turn 16 next month, gonna be a junior in high school after summer break. And I'm a ginger. :U

Me: What about advice to anyone reading this that hopes to become admin someday?

Pac-Attack!: Don't freak out over it. I know I did. It's not a big deal. Don't let it affect your self-esteem. Do NOT minimod. Just be cool, and use the site. If you've been standing out, show responsibility, and impress one of the Overlords, maybe you'll be the next admin when we need one. But don't think about it. Don't ask to be one. Just chill. It's just a small[ish] community website. In the end, I'm just a regular dude. And so are all the other admins, and so is Daniel Gump.
