My social studies teacher was teaching us about the three branches that are, the Legislative branch. The Executive branch and the Judicial brahnch.
The Legislative branch the Legislative Branch consists of the House of Representatives and the Senate, which form the United States Congress. The Constitution lets Congress the authority to enact legislation and declare war, the right to confirm or reject many Presidential appointments, also the right to coin money.
The Executive branch is basically the ( U.S. president) his main power is to enforce the laws, if he/she doesn't he/she can be impeach or removed from congress.
The Judicial branch is another name for the U.s. Sepreme court. There are 9 people in the U.S. Sepreme Court and there main job is to decide if a bill is constitutional. If not they have the power to just declare the bill.
All of these branches have way to check on each other. That's is why the four fathers wanted to make it equal. They wanted no one of branches have to much power.
