Photo Dojo is a game starring yourself, and up to seven of your friends. You take 13 pictures, and generate 10 different sound effects in order to bring yourself to life in the game.
Then using these pictures, you bring yourself to life. The hilarity of watching you and your friends duke it out in the craziest ways is welk worth the meager price that the title carries.
You also can create up to 8 "stages" or backgrounds in which the characters fight. You create these by taking pictures with the DSi Camera.
Overall, the game has two modes:
The single player mode is an arcade style side scrolling brawler in which you face you friend in various sizes. You goal is to defeat up to 100 enimies without dying.
There are four basic attacks:
Punch
Kick
Fireball
Special
The special varies depending on what catagory you place you character into.
Also, you have a despiration move, which you are able to use when you health is down to about 20%. This move also varies depending on which catagory you place your character.
There is also a "Taunt" button that displays on the bottom screen. When pressed it shows a picture and phrase you chose for that effect.
Ex. -press- (picture of me with arms crossed) "You'll never defeat me!"
The other mode is two player, and is basically an arcade fighter. One person controls one side of the screen while the other controls the opposite side. All moves and effects are the same, but it's one on one.
The music is a bit lacking, seeing as you can only choose between three different tracks for battle music:
Rock-n-Roll
Club Beat
Electro
Nothing too memorable, but you'll likely be laughing at the game to notice.
Overall, for a measly 200 DSiWare Points, or $2, Photo Dojo is great!
