All right, I did not want to have to do this (write this blog). Seems I'm left no choice. I'm going to be keeping a MUCH closer eye out on profiles. There are one's that I've seen the past few months continuously banned for profanity in their bio. It's a recurrent issue with many of the same users. They delete it, wait a week or so, then readd it some other place in their bio. It's getting old people. I for 1 am SICK & TIRED of telling the same users over & over again to delete profanity from their bio &/or we're banning the same ones continuously for profanity in another's comments. So, here's the deal: I'll take note of names of people who like to continuously think they can readd profanity. After a specific number of bans, I'll contact a terminator about permaing your account. If you cannot follow the rules, you do not belong here. We are not baby-sitters. Just grow up & learn to speak without swearing & inappropriate language. It's really not that hard. As for details, using COMMANDERS ban counter, I have a list of a few specific, repeat offenders & the # of times they have been banned for bio swearing, & the # of times they've been banned for comment swearing. (yes, I mean a WRITTEN list) Take note everybody, because if I see that you've been banned 4 or more times, you're gone. on the 4th ban, if I issue it, I'll leave a comment on your profile telling you if I see 1 more ban, I'll request your perma. I don't want to be such a hard nose, but ya'll are old enough to know better.
I agree with this. Swearing in real life makes sense. But when you swear in Chatrooms, or on the internet, It's LITERALLY WASTING YOUR TIME, because you actually CHOOSE to type something inappropriate, instead of accidentally saying it because of an injury.
Everytime people drop an F-bomb- TROLL: OH NO A F-BOMB DUCK AND COVE- *shoots troll* *sigh* Anyways, it always reminds me of Smosh. Why, because of their song Firetruck. XD (If this was a YouTube comment it would get 32 thumbs up.)
I understand swearing in real life, moderate swearing. Even I am subject to a moderate amount of swearing. But swearing excessivelyy only makes you look like a jerk & makes you look uneducated.
Do some people really have such small vocabularies that they must substitute sophisticated verbiage with juvenile lexicographical malfeasance? Generally, more intelligent individuals produce less vulgarity, and those lacking higher cerebral functionality resort to conjugation and declension of the banally trite list of expletive substitutions for bodily protrusions and processes.
truthfully, you're not being that hard. Although I had the same problem and was banned (while I was away) and went to chat and an admin asked if I got rid of my profanity (I had a warning, it was a link, the pic not on the page). people should at least drop a comment asking you to remove it, as I wasnt until after already banned unknowingly.
Thumbs up!
