Severe thunderstorms are really powerful thunderstorms.The wind in these storms can go over 60 miles an hour and can be very destructive.It can make branches break like twigs and fly in the air fast as a torpedo.The storms can produce hail from the size of O to a size of a baseball and can damage cars and windows.If there is wind shear,and if conditions are right,a tornado can form so everyone will have to take cover in a basement,bathroom,or a closet and cover there head.
