"Man,we got to get more people"Said Anya"I'm checking data files on some rebels and we could use them.They actually have a decent record."
"We'll go find them,soon"I said,turning away from my table"I'm heading out. Close the place up when you're done."
"Will do"Said Anya,tapping keys on her computer.
I left the base and walked down the rocky sidewalk.The night was awfully cold and dark out.I looked up at the sky and saw several shooting stars.I arrived at my house in a few minutes and walked in.The house was silent and dark.Something was wrong.Normally Nami would greet me but for some reason she didn't.I put my bag on the table and went to the kitchen.A note was put on the table.I glanced at it and saw the signature.Rex...what was he planning?
"Hello Leon.Looks like you're missing someone special.Meet me over at Ryoko.Bring no one or she dies."The note said"Look for an abandoned building in Kyomo town.You have twelve hours. Your friend, Rex..Mwahahaha!"
I clenched my fist and slammed it on the table.He wanted Leon so I took my helmet off and placed it next to the note.
"Anya, send my mech to me"I said,over my earpiece.
"Ok,your mech is being sent to you now"Replied Anya.
I left the house and waited outside.My mech dropped down beside me and I climbed up into it.Twelve hours to make it to Ryoko.I could make it.I jumped into the air and shot off through the skies.The trip would take about a quarter of the time, so I set the mech to auto pilot and caught up on my sleep.When the trip was nearing its end, I woke up and shut auto pilot off.The town of Kyoma was a bur at first until I moved in closer.The Lionhart's systems shut down as I lowered slowly to the ground.The town was a stagnant vision of a war that was long lost.
