Society has taken a sad path to people being overly emotional towards everything. People individually need to step up and lead instead of follow the "norm" of wusses and whiners these days. I am not targeting anyone individually, but make sure to read this whole thing with an open mind.

One good example would be how some whiners at the ACLU think it's a good idea to make it so people cannot openly celebrate Christmas. The ACLU believes Christmas shouldn't be pushed on to people because it hurts the feelings of the people that do not celebrate. All I can say to the people with the hurt feelings is this: Grow up!

Many times throughout your life, people will say or do things that can "hurt your feelings". If society just cries and whines to people every time this happens, we will regress instead of progress.

The solution?

Yes, there is a solution to this issue. Only one person can truly make you happy with who you are, and that is yourself! Instead of complaining about how someone has said something that "offends" you, find it within yourself to know they are just a person and have faults, too. You cannot live your life in someone else's footsteps, you have to forge your own path! There is this thing called "free will". Instead of complaining about something on TV or the radio, or even a website, just change the channel or don't read the material. Or, if you look at it with an open mind, you may be able to have an intelligent discussion about it.
