So, who's ready for Pokémon HG and SS? If your not, stop reading now, because you probably won't care. But, for the rest of you, are you aware of the BRAND-NEW POKÉWALKER? Those responding yes, good for you. Those responding no, keep reading. What is this amazing PokéWalker device you ask? Well, in a nutshell, it's a pedometer. Yes, a step counter. This device is made for special interactions with HG and SS. The PokéWalker is about three inches across if I remember correctly. It features a very primative screen, black and white only. The Pokémon use their sprites, only the sprites look stranger than those from Pokémon Red, Blue, or Yellow. The PokéWalker is very similar to the old Pokémon Pikachu (I think that's what it's called). The PokéWalker allows you to carry any three of you Pokémon with you throughout the day, with out your DS/DSi. The way the PokéWalker works is by using an infer-red beam, you can transport three Pokémon and three items between HG and SS and the PokéWalker. Throughout the day, the PokéWalker counts your steps. For every 20 steps you take you will be given one watt (which acts as a kind of currency). Watts help you find Pokémon and items on the PokéWalker itself. This device can also act as a record mixer. Just sync it with someone else's PokéWalker and your records will mix. After syncing it with your HG or SS, you can find the player you mixed with in the basement of the Pokémon Center, ready for battle. If there's anything else you want to know, leave a comment in the comment section below.
