Frost was busy doing his normal routine. Running like his life depended on it. And in a way, it did. Being caught by the S.C.H.O.O.L would not be a life friendly choice.
Why was this seemingly average 16 year old running from the most secretive criminal hunting organization in the world? That can be answered by a quick flashback to earlier today.
FLASHBACK
Frost Lupins was nervous. Who wouldn't be? It's not an easy task to do, breaking in to the most secure laboratory ever constructed.
Frost had heard about a reward going out in the black market to anyone who could snatch the latest invention built by the S.C.O.P.E.
Frost had his break in planned out expertly, so no need to panic, right? He took a deep breath to calm himself down and entered a service entrance a few meters from the fanced boundries of S.C.O.P.E.
"Jeez, sure is dark in here..." Frost muttered to himself while putting on a cliched janitor disguise, complete with handle bar mustache. It was so cheesy, it was foolproof.
He emerged from a suplly closet a few minutes later, disguis in place. He casually yet stealthily towards the high security levels of the facilty.
"Hey! You there! What are you doing?" A scientist barked out.
Frost froze. (heh, pun XD) 'Oh god, I'm busted! T-T' He thought mentally freaking out.
"N-nothing, nothing at all!" Frost stammered.
The scientist snorted. "The come with me you lazy janitor. I need you to clean Sector 8 before the Board of Directors arrive to inspect our latest project."
"Right away sir!" Frost exclaimed quickly following him down to the lower levels.
=Moments Later=
"Make sure this place shines, especially that tank over there with our project for the BoD as I call them." The scientist instructed Frost before leaving Frost alone in the room.
Frost looked around as he cautiously walked to the tank. 'Must be the invention I heard about...' He thought.
Thetank was cylindrical in shape with glass about 4 inches thick caging a wispy, silver colored smoke. At first glance, nothing stood out.
"Hmph... Just smoke, what's great about that? Risking my life for lousy-" Frost gasped. The smoke had, for a split second, swirled into the image of a wolf before returning to just a mass of silver smoke again.
Frost found a button marked "Release" and pressed it. The glass of the tank melted away and the smoke suddenly shot forward and engulfed Frost. Frost began to feel dizzy and extremly cold at the same time.
An alarm blarred and he realized he had to get out quickly. He ran through several flights of stairs before bursting out a fire exit.
"There! That's the one from the tapes! Stop him!" An agent from the S.C.H.O.O.L. shouted and Frost took off running quickly followed by several very dangerous agents.
Which bring us to current moments.
END FLASHBACK
Frost turned down an alley and groaned. A dead end. How fitting considering the circumstances.
"Freeze!" (pun not intended intentionally or otherwise.) The commander of the sqaud chasing him commanded. Frost turned to see six S.C.H.O.O.L. agents armed with A.C.M.E. guns.
If he wasn't scared and wetting himself before, Frost certainly was now. A.C.M.E. guns were very nasty weapons. They fired a substance that melted your atoms one by one. Very slow, very painful.
The commander of the sqaud gave a signal and the other agents raised their guns and took aim.
"FIRE!" The commander barked. Frost could only gulp and stare fearfully as a wave of atom destroying gunk flew at him. And then, all was silent.
I sincerely hope you all enjoyed the first part of my latest inspiration. As for all the acronyms, I hope you thought they were as clever as I hoped for them to be.
