Everyone seems to know me,
But I do not know myself.
How can this ignorance be,
That I am left with this question of doubt.

People say I'm there bestfriend,
People know my name.
People say remember,
Is this some kind of game?

I think so hard my head hurts,
I hope you know I'm trying.
People come up to me,
They probably think I'm lying.

I do not know much of anything,
I'm confused without reconizeation.
I hope you consider,
Trying to let me be.

I hope to soon remember,
All these great tales you tell me.
It's like I'm a character,
And you're telling me my story.

It has it's ups and downs,
I still can't remember a thing.
I've read many of my songs,
And many pieces of poetry.

I still don't come to think,
About this time or that time.
Everyone's pressuring me,
It's not the deal I signed.

They say; "Oh, Please remember",
Some have actually cried.
I wish I could but I can't,
Please undestand, Please subside.

I'm writing this right now,
Half because I'm bored, Half because I want to know why.
This leaves me with the questions,
"Who are you?", "Who am I?".

In time I hope to see that,
Everyone of your names comes back.
Until then, Let's start again,
Let's straighten fact to fact.
