Garsh, it's been about two weeks since my weekly releases. Whoops. I took a break. I traveled up to North Carolina for these past two weeks before I started Summer Semester. I can't come before Fall since I'm moving into my apartment the day after my finals. That's practically why I haven't done anything with music lately, that and the last thing I did was a full album.
Anywho, to start things off:
1. The next album
I am announcing my next full album, but no real date. I don't even think I can release it any time soon. I'm trying to make the music sound more... "original". Sure, the same old style I have been doing will still be around, but the idea here is to make it seem more... polished. I can't really stand hearing my own music and think "Oh wow. Was that part really off tempo?"
The album, which will be a sequel to my first real album American Dreams, will be titled American Dreams: The Second Dream.
2. The new music
(Yes, this will require a device that can download or play the MP3 files)
I started work on this song late last week and finalized the entire song today. I had to work on the tempo and melody of the song as some of the stuff didn't even fit in with other parts of the song. The song actually turned out successful and almost became an unused song.
People who have listened to my previous work may remember this. The song has been remastered and uses an original drum beat, rather than the sample I used in the first place.
I have one more song, which is called Problematic, but the song is pretty trashy at the moment. I need to go back and fix it, but there's a slight chance I'll throw it off to the side.
3. The MIDI files
Yeah, I don't know. If you have a Mac, I'll upload the entire .BAND files somewhere for you to download and use with Garageband. Creating .MIDI files and using Garageband is a pain. It's as if Apple wanted the software to be casual... Wait, that's exactly what Apple aims for.
