Alright, consider this my stance on the subject. -.-
First of all, we have Evolution on the one hand. It's a rather sketchy theory, I admit. We've got fossils to aid us sometimes, But not the most reliable.
But, is it any sillier than the idea that we were made from mud, Pigeons designed to immediately survive cold winters, and Giraffes to have such long necks, all automatically? Creationism?
I'm going to tear down both today. I will try defend both equally, even though I am an Evolutionist.
Evolution
Cell to Trilobite to Chicken to Human?
Evolution is quite spotty. There hasn't been any huge changes in recent centuries. However, there have been more subtle ones.
Pros;
There is solid, fossil evidence to suggest that we had a direct line of ancestors whom we decend from.
The same for other Families, Genus', and the like.
There are multiple species in the same Genus. Thus, Homo Erectus actually evolved along with Homo Sapiens, but were killed by, -cough- Homo Sapiens, Climate, etc.
This proves that the reason there are still monkeys around is due to the fact not every member of a Species evolves the same way.
Cons;
The Evolutionary Timeline can be changed easily, to better suit the Evolutionist's case. However, this, sadly, undermines the Theory as a whole.
No matter how many bone-piles found, it's extremely hard to even prove they're from the same animal, much less a new one.
Is a really jacked-up thing to try and believe.
So, I have just proven Evolution wrong on the most basic of Terms. Easy, no? Well, I'm gonna have to resist tossing in some things about Creationism... Hoo boy...
It keeps preventing me from typing, so, it appears I've reached the damn Character Limit. Look for Pt. 2. Leave comments there, please.
