There are Many Kinds of Pokémon
Pokémon are wonderous creatures. Much about their way of life is still a mystery to us. Wild Pokémon live in the fields and the seas, on grassy plains, and in dark, mysterious caves. Many Pokémon, however, live together in harmony with humans. New kinds of Pokémon are discovered every day; nobody knows how many there are in all.
Acquire Pokémon
To reach the final goal of your adventure, you must catch Pokémon and use their powers. And for that, you must have a solid grasp on the different ways to get your own Pokémon.
•Primary ways of acquiring Pokémon
-Catch wild Pokémon
Wild Pokémon live in different areas, such as in the tall grasses along routes, inside caves, and in the ocean. Seak them out and catch them.
-Send a Pokémon into battle to evolve it
Some kinds of Pokémon can evolve into other kinds by building up their strength through battling. Many of a Pokémon's attributes can change upon evolving, including its name, appearance, and moves.
-Recieve Pokémon as set events in the story
Search the towns for people in need. Help them and you might sometimes get a Pokémon Egg for your trouble. Make it a point to talk to townspeople.
-Trade Pokémon with a friend
Some elite Pokémon are nearly impossible to obtain through normal means. The best way to get one of these Pokémon is to trade with a friend.
