All i can remeber of that day is waking up in my room to those flames. I tried to hold my breathe and stay strong to avoid passing out from the fumes. I made my way to the living room, it was getting harder not to breathe in smoke. I couldn't hold it anymore by the time i reached my parents, who at the time before the fire had been in the living room watching TV. "Mommy... Daddy..."I said, giving up holding my breathe. "Help..." I passed out, unable to not breathe in the fumes. My dad while avoiding the spreading flames walked towards me and hugged me. "It'll be ok..."He said. I heard the sound of a firetruck before passing out fully.
And that's basically all i can remeber now, laying here in my hospital bed. I looked at the nurse, who was bringing me a tray of unappetizing looking foods and a soda. "They're dead."She stuttered quietly. "D-dead!?"I asked in shock. "Hun, calm down..."She tried. "No! They can't be! You're joking right?!"I demanded. "No... They're really dead. They died just after calling the fire department."She sighed. "I'm so sorry.."She said sympathetically. I just said nothing, sinking down into my bed. "Dead..."I mumbled. Nacy walked out, sensing i wanted to be alone.
After a few hours, i had been okay. The doctor said i'd be discharged tommorow and sent to the most decent family member. I wondered who he was, and if i knew him or not. I ate my food, and afterwords passed out in bed. The next day i was picked up by a man named Steven. "I'm your new guardian. I'll be taking you to your new home."He spoke in a low tone. "Okay.." I said. He was slim, and very short. He had a t-shirt on and plain jeans, and his hair covered his left eye. He seemed to be around 20-ish. After a very silent drive we arrived at a house in a desolate forest. It was grey and dull.(Continue?)
