Over a year ago, there was... DSiTabs/net... And then G/net in June 2010. Blah blah blah, nobody cares about that anymore.
Let's take a look at this. G/net launched on June 3rd, 2010 and ended development for it on September 10th, 2010 (With me in general ending development back in August). I tried reviving it at the end of the 2010, but I never did and it ended again. It wasn't until May of this year when I decided to search the Internet far and wide for the old G/net files. I ended up finding them. Uploaded them and opened up the site again on May 3rd, 2011.
So... yeah. Out of every thing I have ever done, G/net is one of the most used websites I have ever made. I try to revive it all the time, but fail to do so. Same goes with myWorldnet. I have had the myworldnet.co.cc domain since 2007!
The reason why most of my revive attempts failed was because... I didn't find a lot of web development fun anymore. Building an entire system from the ground up is a lot of work. Considering I'm in college (Even in the summer, welcome to the real world) and I play a lot of video games, I just don't have a lot of time to sit down and concentrate on building an entire website without being stressed, annoyed, or having to deal with college matters (It has been pretty stressful this entire semester trying to get accepted into Auburn University).
Annnnyyywho...
I'm relaunching G/net, but with good reasons:
1. OneClickWifi is practically toast.
2. I need a dedicated platform for Web Dev RPG.
I can't decide if I should make a script to change over the old accounts from G/net to the new structure or just make everyone re-register if they wanted to.
The site is being developed for the desktop/laptop environments, but when I finally release it... It'll be formatted for a 3DS or DSi.
Go check out the info page (The design of the info page is not the final design of the site, but it is very close to it!
