This is continued from the first part because I didn't have enough room.
Black Cats •They tolerate crowds well
•They can recognize superstisious people, & love to tease them.
•They have a wild & unpredictable side
• Can be stubborn & friendly at the same time
•They are independent
•They do tend to thrive on the companionship of their human friends as well as the other pets in the household.
•Though known to be the healthiest & most even-tempered. Both colors are among the least adopted & most likely to be killed in a shelter.
•They tend to wander & can cover many miles in a short period of time.
HEALTH
There are no specific diseases & health issues known to this color. They can, if taken care of the right way live well beyong 9 & 10 years of age. This doesn't mean that NO cat that is black or black & white will get sick. It just means that there are no specific health issues that you need to watch for. When taken care of correctly, many black/black & white cats can live up to 15 or more years old. (I had a black & white cat who was 17 years old when he finally had to be put down). The oldest living cat, in his 20s, is (was?), in fact, a Black & White cat.
Haha, my cat is black and white and she's very healthy so far, we aren't sure of her exact age, because we got her at a shelter, but they thought she was about 7, she's 14 or 15 now and despite the fact that she is pretty old (and pretty fat, lol), she is still fairly playful, and has no health problems to my knowledge..
