Hello everyone! The coaster nerd inside me decided to write about the amazing year we're going to have next year in the amusement park industry.

2012 will be one of the biggest expansion years in the histoy of theme parks.

Eagle (Wingwalker/Record Breaking Coaster)*

This is only the tip of the iceberg!

After many years of suffering attendance due to the 9-11 attacks, amusement parks are making a comeback, adding new, bigger, better, and faster coaster and innovative darkrides and shows.

Other parks such as Six Flags Discovery Kingdom, Knott's Berry Farm, Six Flags Magic Mountian, Cedar Point, and many more are all rumored to have something big planned for 2012.

2012 is going to be one of the most important years for amusement parks, and I can't wait see what's in store!
