Marcus stared blankly at Cheyenne, who's cooly turned around and was looking back. He slowely sat down.
"And you didn't tell me yet? Cheyenne, c'mon, you shoulda' told me as soon as she told you!"
"Who said I'm telling you?"
Marcus laughed. "Yeah, right. Good one Cheyenne. Now, tell me while I but it all into the databasis."
"I never said I was going to tell you."
"Cheyenne, stop fooling around! Start talking, time's precious."
Cheyenne kept silent. Marcus began to realize she WASN'T joking about not telling him.
"Cheyenne, why? Why won't you tell me?"
"I promised her I wouldn't. I keep my promises, Marcus McCloud."
Marvus gritted his teeth and narrowed his eyes.
"Do you realize that's mutiny?"
"Perfectly well. Umless you agree to letting me keep it all a secret. I was hoping-"
"Cheyenne! You will tell me, or you will not like what happens."
Cheyenne remained unmoved.
"Are you threatening me?"
"Maybe."
Fred tried to look unworried. Scarlet figeted nervously. Cheyenne undauntingly sat as still as a stone.
The door panel slid open and in walked Marcus, a determined look on his unhappy face. He turned to face the rest of the team.
"I was informed of some disturbing news," he began. At this Scarlet got a wild look in her eyes.
"Cheyenne told me that Scarlet told her everything we need to know..."
Scarlet put her hands to her face.
"...But Cheyenne refuses to tell me anything Scarlet said."
The red vixen let out a choked sob of relief. Fred gasped and looked at the silent rabbit.
"CHEYENNE!? WHAT THE HECK THAT'S...THAT'S..."
"I don't care," she replied to the orange frog. "A promise is a promise." A slight filcker of light appeared in the corner of her eye.
"My grandpa's the boss. He's the reason we're here. So I would this carefully to my proposal."
Marcus slammed his fist on the dash panel and barred his teeth angrily. Cheyenne cooly stood up.
"I'll tell you everything if Scarlet's sentance is dropped."
