Marcus wearily ran his hand over his head in exhaustion. No activity from Dash Bowman in 3 weeks was very odd. Especially when a team member of their's was prinsoner on the Great Fox III.
"Take that BACK," Marcus murmed, rolling his eyes. "She's not a prisoner anymore. Stupid Cheyenne got her freakin' sentance to the pennitary dropped in exchange for that little of information. She doesn't even know where the hideout exactly IS! And her background, as interestring as it is, doesn't assist us at all-"
Just then Scarlet walked in. Marcus acted busy at his computer, unsure of what to say. He heard footsteps and noises behind him as she tidied up the command room. Suddenly he heard a loud bang. He spun around to see Scarlet laying on the floor, a small puddle of liquid near her.
"Uh, sorry..." He help out his hand to help her up. "Are you okay? I accidently left some..."
She grabbed his hand with her slender red one and pulled herself up using him for leverege. Suddenly, Marcus felt a strange tingly feeling in his stomach. She looked up at him and with a small, half scared, half thankful smile, said thank you. She turned her back to him and began dusting tge dash panel. For some reason Marcus didn't even know himself,he lingered nearby, to stangely nervous to talk.
Scarlet WAS very attractive... why on earth did he feel like talking to her?
"Marcus, keep the right mindset! She's a criminal, whoooo's also all alone in the world, she has no one... dang, she's gorgeous..."
Marcus mentally kicked himself and went back to his computer.
The hall was dark and everyone but Cheyenne and Fred, who had gone to Corneria briefly to arrange Scarlet's situation, were heading off to bed.
Scarlet rounded the corner of the hall and opened her door. She walked in and gasped. Her room had been ransacked!
She frantically spun around and her eyes widened in terror.
She screamed and blacked out.
