"You've really done it this time. What would your dad say?"
"Falco, we're NOT dragging my dad into this; i'm not a minor anymore! I can make my own decisions!"
"How long have you KNOWN her?"
Marcus bit back the TRUE answer of 3 days, and replied, "3 weeks..."
Falco rolled his eyes and heaved a sigh.
"Seriously consider some things though. This girl has kept you from making any good, steady progress on the mission, by not revealing any information and by, well... taking up the whole past 3 days, in which severe measures should of been taken to find out who our so-called intuder was. By now progess may be difficult, and-"
"Yeah yeah yeah, Falco. I got it. Trust me it won't happen again."
The vulpine exited the command room and walked slowely down the hall, muttering under his breath. He had blindly fallen for her! It wasn't HIS fault! Stupid girl, trying to get attention and act traumatized by a "mutilated beast" threatening her. Yeah, sure. It'd take more than that to scare her if she'd been a member of Dash Bowman's team.
He rounded the corner and sighed. Entering Scarlet's room, he stopped.
"Scarlet, I need to tell you something."
She looked up and smiled brightly. This, for some weird reason, seriously ticked off the vulpine.
"Yes?"
"It's over."
Her smile dropped and a slighty puzzled expression crossed her face.
"Um, what do you mean...?"
Marcus got annoyed by her answer.
"Uh, what do you THINK?" He retored, throwing his hands up. Scarlet looked hurt and confused.
"Um, I- I really don't know..."
Marcus rolled his eyes and folded his arms across his broad chest.
She felt the blood rush to her head. WHAT was Marcus SAYING? As if the pst three days the shared every moment of together had been... been... HER fault!?
"Marcus, this is really embarrassing... I didn't-"
"I'm sorry you don't understand as I hoped you would. I have work to do and this is getting in my way. It is over."
She tearfully jumped up and yelled.
"IT WAS NEVER STARTED!?
