My local library hosts all kinds of workshops. Starting this monday I'll be attending a week long workshop to write/illustrate your own comic with the help of a professional writer. By the end of the week it will be published as a real book and online, so I'll post a link for you guys. I originally wanted to write a story about a girl who adopts a dog, but the dog is acually a human. I couldn't because of a movie with the same plot. So, I came up with another idea. It's about a person who buys a house, but half the house is in the Victorian Era and half the house is in this era. The Victorian Era was during Shakespear's time, so I might have them go to a play in the Globe Theater. I'm very excited, but I have a problem... conflict. I need some sort of confict in the story. And a climax, of course. I'm sure I'll come up with something sooner or later.
...Scratch that. it's coming out in November and it's not the Victorian era, it's 1776 Philadelphia... and I hate how it came out with only 4 pages >.<
Oh, completely off this topic, I had my heart torn. I really want to be an author when I grow up, but I learned that when you go to oublish a book you have no say in the title or the cover. Plus, it can take many years just to get one book published.
