(I decided to use colors in my title; to make it stand out more. OH BOY! This is getting interesting!!)

The Great Fox III was still. Too still. And silent. Too silent. Marcus uneasily walked down the hall, strangly on edge. At Scarlet's door, he suddenly stopped. An urge to look inside overcame him, and after a pause he cracked the door and peeked in.
The bed was still perfectly made...
AND EMPTY.
Marcu frantically tore around the room, looking everwhere for her. It was 4 in the morning; Scarlet NEVER got up before 7!
After he'd combed the room three times over, he began panicking.
"CHEYENNE!! FRED!! FALCO!! R.O.B.!! SCARLET'S GONE!!"
He yelled this at the top of his lungs. Suddenly, a small piece of paper on the nightsand caught his eye. He snatched it up and quickly scanned it.
Afte he'd read it, his eyes narrowed and he instinctively barred his teeth. He dashed out of the room, shouting to the others to get to the command room on the double.
The note had read:

"Marcus,
"I have been kidnapped; I am being held for ransom in Sagrasso. They want $1,000,000 for my freedom. Come alone; tell no one where you are going. Do not bring a weapon. They said if you do not arrive with the money in 24 hours, they will kill me."

(Sorry this one was short; but it's all part of my ending layout. I might do a second part in the same day to make up for it. Whoa, so, what do you think has Scarlet? Is it a trap, or are they really just in it for the money? Will Marcus follow instructions, or do things his own way?)
