Zeus awoke with a start. He was in a dark room, with a small oil lamp's light slowly fainting. He looked around the room. Where was he? What happened? A door opened from within the room and a tall woman came out. "Ah. I see you are feeling better. Three days rest should make you feel alive!" she said. Three days? He had been asleep for three days? Zeus touched his scar below his left eye. It didn't hurt anymore. "You may go now" nodded the lady. Zeus gave her his thanks and walked out of the door. It was dark, the only light coming from the moon through the glass window. The man with the dragon wings woke up and noticed Zeus walking about. He jumped up, spread his wings and flew down. "You're alright?" asked the man. Zeus nodded, and he recognized not only the man, but his voice. Changed a little, but he was almost certain it was...Nevermind. Then, Zeus noticed his pitch black skin and the runes engraved all over him. The man's fangs showed a little and his black wings were very large. His spiky hair shined. The man dusted off his dark trench coat and smiled at Zeus. "I'm sorry...Eric?" asked Zeus. The man looked startled and his smile faded. "Yes. But that is no longer my name, as Jake is no longer yours. I am Shadow. A lot has changed, brother. The sharp teeth, silver tongue, the pitch black skin and runes. The wings..." he said nervously. "Eri-I mean Shadow, what powers did you get? Why is there no light?" asked Zeus. Shadow sighed, "I can blend in the shadows, cause mischief with shadows. Fly as you can see, and use magic.
