Yes it's me, yet again.
I haven't seen any blogs about this yet, and i have a bit to share.
The Nintendo DS launched in North America on November 21st 2004, then followed by a December 2nd 2004 release in Japan and a March 11 2005 release in Europe.
It had supported a microphone that was built into the system itself. You could play Gameboy games on the system too. The screen size was 3.0, total size 149 X 84.7 X 28.9mm (all the way round) The battery life was 10-14 hours.
Then came the Nintendo DS Lite, this meant brighter screens, but also meant more battery life surprisingly.
It lasted 15-19 hours.
The whole screen size was 133.0 X 73.9 X 21.5mm, slightly smaller than the Nintendo DS.
The Nintendo DSi brought tons of new excitement. Such as 2 cameras, (one on the in, one on the out, possibly the same camera?) but only lasted 9-14 hours. The whole way round size was 137.0 X 74.9 X 18.9mm, bigger than all versions of Nintendo DS's so far. We could buy games off of the internet, go online (Was when DSiPaint was born!!) and Pictochat had the choice of either drawing, black or rainbow pictures.
The Nintendo DSi XL brought extra screen size. The XL standed for Xtra Large. The whole size was 161.0 X 91.4 X 21.2mm, screen size was 4.2, and lasted 13-17 hours! The stylus had also changed a grown quite a bit.
The Latest Invention, The Nintendo 3DS, had a total size of 134.0 X 74 X 21mm, and games based for the 3DS were totally 3D!! Unfortunately, the battery life only lasted 3-5 hours (3D) (mine lasts like 3 minutes 0.o ) and the screen size was wider (see picture below) But we have more cameras, total 3D, another browser, more games and more fun.
The more the better right?
Pictochat isn't the "best thing" @whoever said that. it sucked. You had to be like, 1 foot away from somebody to pictochat with them, and in that case you could just talk to them.
I don't really understand why people think 3-5 hours isn't a lot.. you shouldn't be gaming for that long straight anyway. And (dsi) "only 9-14 hours." That sounds like quite a bit to me..
Alright fine, Twisted. They had 6 different models, and 2 semi-emulators[the Super GameBoy for SNES, and the GameBoy Advance Player for GameCube,] under the GameBoy "brand".
for those who say 3ds has low battery life:
mine lasts all day. WHY? POWER SAVE MODE! it dosent hinder gameplay AT ALL all it does is SLIGHTLY dim the screen. 3dses only last 3-5 hrs. if you have it on brightest setting on full volume on max 3d 24/7
Hmm.. Too many grammatical screw-ups for my taste.
On a side note, I'm surprised that Nintendo didn't make too many versions of the Nintendo DS, like how they did with the GameBoy family. 4 DS', since the 3DS is no longer part of the Nintendo DS Family, and 6 GameBoys. oFTo[GB, Pocket, Color, Advance, SP, and Micro.]
But...you screwed up not working the images up, resizing and linking. If Crym hadn't reviewed it already i'd request a change..but now its already there so it doesn't matter i guess.
Quite interesting on how much these handhelds evolved over the years. I got every handheld system so far but still need to get a 3ds and try it out for myself. Lol
