The battle was on. Marcus was fighting with aan inner strength he never knew he had. An inner strenth that gave him supernatural power to get in every hit he could, to get up as soon as he was knocked down, to never run out of energy.
The Morbid body kicked the vulpine in the gut and then put him in a headlock, bending backwards with such flexability Marcus could loudly hear something snap in the Morbid body's back.
It slammed Marcus to the ground and the vulpine felt something crack in his own. It didn't matter; nothing mattered except making the Morbid's admit defeat.
"Wait..." Marcus thought in a panic. "How does this work? The Morbids have control over her body, and they're slowely killing off Scarlet's life. How do I defeat them!?"
Marcus dodged a blow and swiftly knocked the Morbid body down.
"They must be something lie a virus! How do I beat up a virus!?"
Marcus stopped. He couldn't. But if they took over another body instead, a body with a virus killing antibody in it, they'd die off.
"BUT I DON'T HAVE AN ANTIBODY!! AURG!! IF ONLY CHEYENNE WAS HERE!!!"
Marcus fell under a heavy hit to his head. He couldn't hold out forever! He needed an antibody!
He immediatly remembered his headset. He hadn't brought teamates or weapons, he was only concened about getting Scarlet to saftey. But he DID have ways of communtication!
"Calling Great Fox III, do you read me?!"
Static.
"C'mon, c'mon..."
"We read you loud and clear, Marky!"
Marcus heaved a sigh of relief and breifed Cheyenne on the situation while trying to fight off the Morbid body's attacks.
"Ooo, an antibody? Um... uh..."
"CAN YOU THINK OF ANYTHING!!??"
Cheyenne mumbled a little and then shouted.
"YES!! WE MIGHT BE ABLE TO TELEPORT YOU ONE!! The mass of the object must be heavier than 2 tons, though!"
"THEN BEAM ME A LANDMASTER WITH IT FOR ALL I CARE BUT GET ME THAT ANTIBODY, CHEYENNE! SCARLET'S ONLY GONNA' BE ABLE TO HANG ON FOR SO LONG!!"
