INTRODUCTION The Brittany, also called Brittany Spaniel or Épagnuel Français is a dog breed that originally came from France, where it's one of the most popular breeds. Although it's classified as a spaniel, it has more of a resemblence to a setter or a pointer.
DESCRIPTION/APPEARENCE They are are usually elegant & rugged in appearence with faces that are quite expressive. They have a dense, wavy coat that are orange & white or liver & white & the pattern is either clear or roan. Their tails are usually short, & sometimes, they are docked. These dogs are compact with a Height of 17-20 in (43-51 cm) & a Weight of 30-40 lb. (13-18 kg), & thay have a face that tends to be slightely squarer in shape then your average spaniel. Their eyes are brown or dark brown & the color of them will harmonize with the color of the coat. Their ears are set high on their head & are floppy. & their grroming needs moderate.
