No doubt about it, Siberian Husky's are beautiful. But, with moderate coat care needed, moderately-high food intake, & a medium to large size, they also require a lot of attention.
DESCRIPTION/APPEARANCE They have soft, dense undercoats that shed all year round & are covered by a straight, outercoat that is harsher & medium in length & they can be almost any color & marking Their nose color depends on their coat color: Black noses: Black, gray, & tan coat. Liver nose: Copper coat, Flesh-colored nose: Pure white dog. They're built strongly & elegantly, wirh strong heads, tapering muzzles, & almond shaped eyes giving the expression of a friendly alert dog. Their eyes can be blue, brown, or amber. The eyes can also be half blue & half brown (parti-color), or 1 blue & 1 brown (bi-color). The ears are pricked, triangular & positioned high upon the head. They have substantial chests & strong legs. Their brush tail needs careful grooming around molting season. The fenales should be feminine, but not weak & males should be masculine, but not coarse. Their size varies with a height of 20-23 in (51-58 cm) & a weight of 35-60 lb (16-27 kg).
